Welcome to this year's conference!

First order of business...
The night-before eat-out!

Eric is enforcing his "food tax".

While Jocelyn is just trying to stay out of the feeding-frenzy splash-zone, I think.

Aubrey is practicing her fake surprised face!
Ooh... Kara is playing a dangerous game of ice-cream headache roulette!
The "no dessert for me" trio:

Mackenzie, Kaitlin, & Emily!

Finally! A picture of Dr. Paul!

Where is he... why, he's right THERE!

Mackenzie at poster 12 stands ready to talk about her research!
Poster 9

Aubrey telling it like it is, and ready to spit into her hand to prove it if she has to!

Poster 17

Kaitlin would like to volunteer some information about her research, if you can spare a minute!

Poster 45

David was well dressed and ready to talk about sounds or silence.

Whatever people needed to hear.

Poster 33

Kara knows what's up with her research, wouldn't YOU like to know?!

Poster 32

Eric was the best-dressed canary-landing-site at the conference!

(See, his finger is out like he's waiting for a canary to land on it...

Hey, these can't ALL be funny...)

Back to Mackenzie who was explaining her research to another conference-goer.
Catherine snagging some offprints and making the most of her visit to the conference!
Back to Kara who was also discussing some research results with a conference-goer.
Dave and Mack both explaining the advantages of an RMU education to a conference-goer.
Back to Aubrey who is explaining the finer points of color and synesthesia to a conference-goer.
Eric is handing out one of the awesome
RMU Psi Chi newsletters.

Hopefully next year's WPUPC will have a greater Psi Chi presence!

Time for the half-way break where we heard the keynote speaker, Dr. Scott O. Lilienfeld, who gave an excellent talk!
Dr. Monda proving that texting is not a sport just for students!
Professor Allen enjoying lunch and being playfully tolerant of being photographed while eating!
RMU attendees enjoying lunch and pleased with not being caught mid-mouthful by the mad photographer!
A not-so-suprising photo of Eric eating (again) and Emily trying in vain to keep up!
(Aubrey already gave up, it seems.)
Poster 81

Back to the conference where we find Mack explaining his face-symmetry research to a conference-goer!

Poster 100

Here is a photo of Jocelyn next to her poster.

Is that a real smile?

Would it matter if we knew it was fake?

Sounds like a research idea waiting to happen!

Here is Jocelyn explaining her excellent shocking-but-fake-video results to a conference-goer!
Poster 101

Emily is engaged in some idle conversation so she can get to know this conference-goer's personality better!

Dr. Kelly inspecting posters 100 & 101 (but Emily doesn't look worried)!

Another fantastic group from RMU this year!

See you next April at Allegheny College!
